Project Overview
HK is one of Denmark’s largest unions, representing professionals and students across various sectors. Their Studie+ initiative supports students during their education and early careers. HK’s Studie+ needed practical guidance on how to use AI responsibly in their daily work with students and members. The goal was to create a digital playbook that made AI accessible, transparent, and easy to integrate into workflows – without compromising ethics or trust.
The final deliverable was a visual and user-friendly PDF guide covering topics such as appropriate use cases for AI, human-in-the-loop, ethical principles, avoiding bias, and prompt strategies.

My Role
The work was divided across the team, but we all collaborated on content and design through iterative feedback. My main contributions were:
- Introduction & framing – wrote the opening chapters that explained the purpose of the playbook and set the ethical tone.
- AI principles & ethics – developed the section AI with Care (based on Ethan Mollick’s “Co-Intelligence”) and wrote the ethical guidelines.
- Visual design & layout – contributed to making the playbook easy to navigate, structured as a professional yet accessible reference.
- Collaboration & iteration – tested AI outputs, documented iterations, and ensured alignment with HK’s tone of voice and visual identity.
- AI-assisted visuals – used ChatGPT to generate two images, which I refined and integrated into the design – applying AI critically and creatively in line with the very principles we outlined for HK.

Process
- Research & theory: Based on Mollick’s four principles of AI collaboration and the CHAI-DT model for human–AI design thinking.
- Structure: Used AI as sparring partner to brainstorm content ideas, then critically selected and reworked them into relevant sections for HK.
- Iteration: Tested prompts, refined outputs, and documented decisions in a prompt-log. This ensured transparency and critical use of AI.
- Design: Set up the playbook in Adobe InDesign using HK Studie+’s design manual for consistent branding.
Deliverables
- A comprehensive AI Playbook with practical guidelines, checklists, and prompt templates for HK Studie+.
- A structured, visual PDF designed for both digital and print use.
- A resource that balances creativity with responsibility, and shows how AI can strengthen workflows without losing the human touch.

Reflection
This project strengthened my skills in:
- Communicating complex topics in an accessible way.
- Structuring and designing a professional digital product.
- Using AI critically and ethically as a creative tool in content creation.
- Collaborating in a team where responsibilities were split but integration and iteration were key.
Personal AI Manifest
Alongside the AI Playbook project, I also developed a personal AI Manifest. This document reflects my own principles for working with AI as a creative tool – focusing on responsibility, transparency, and human-centered design.

My Approach to AI
I see AI as a creative tool and a collaborative partner that can help me structure thoughts, develop ideas, and save time in the early phases of a project. AI can particularly contribute with inspiration, alternative perspectives, and quick drafts that I can then refine and adapt to the context. However, I am aware of its limitations: AI can be too generic, make mistakes, or reproduce hidden biases. That is why it is important for me to always validate the content, adjust the language, and ensure that the final product aligns with both the facts and the tone of voice required by HK Studie+.
My Role as an AI Manager
I take active responsibility for how AI is used in projects. I plan which tasks AI can support and where human control is necessary. I work with clear prompts, assigning AI a role so the output becomes more targeted. Iteration is a fixed method: I adjust prompts until the result reflects my professional decisions. I document the process by saving examples and insights for later use.
Ethical and Lega Considerations
I am conscious that AI must be used responsibly. This means I never input sensitive personal data, and I always evaluate whether AI-generated content respects copyright and licensing. I actively work to avoid bias and stereotypes by asking critical questions of the AI’s output and adjusting the language to make it inclusive and trustworthy. Transparency is also important to me – if AI has contributed, it should be explained openly and honestly.
Future Development
I will continue to experiment with new tools and stay updated on developments in legislation and best practices. I see AI as an opportunity to strengthen my professional identity as a multimedia designer by combining creativity, technology, and critical thinking.
Example of Use in this Project
In the work with the AI Playbook for Studie+, I used AI to develop the sections I was responsible for: introduction, purpose and target group, ethical guidelines, and the four principles. I generated drafts in ChatGPT, which I then adapted to the tone of voice of Studie+. I also worked with an AI-generated infographic (AI with Care), where I used the output as a starting point for the final design. In this way, AI became a support tool, but the final decisions were mine.
