Project Overview

HK is one of Denmark’s largest unions, representing professionals and students across various sectors. Their Studie+ initiative supports students during their education and early careers. HK’s Studie+ needed practical guidance on how to use AI responsibly in their daily work with students and members. The goal was to create a digital playbook that made AI accessible, transparent, and easy to integrate into workflows – without compromising ethics or trust.

The final deliverable was a visual and user-friendly PDF guide covering topics such as appropriate use cases for AI, human-in-the-loop, ethical principles, avoiding bias, and prompt strategies.

Personal AI Manifest

Alongside the AI Playbook project, I also developed a personal AI Manifest. This document reflects my own principles for working with AI as a creative tool – focusing on responsibility, transparency, and human-centered design.

My Approach to AI

I see AI as a creative tool and a collaborative partner that can help me structure thoughts, develop ideas, and save time in the early phases of a project. AI can particularly contribute with inspiration, alternative perspectives, and quick drafts that I can then refine and adapt to the context. However, I am aware of its limitations: AI can be too generic, make mistakes, or reproduce hidden biases. That is why it is important for me to always validate the content, adjust the language, and ensure that the final product aligns with both the facts and the tone of voice required by HK Studie+.

My Role as an AI Manager

I take active responsibility for how AI is used in projects. I plan which tasks AI can support and where human control is necessary. I work with clear prompts, assigning AI a role so the output becomes more targeted. Iteration is a fixed method: I adjust prompts until the result reflects my professional decisions. I document the process by saving examples and insights for later use.

Ethical and Lega Considerations

I am conscious that AI must be used responsibly. This means I never input sensitive personal data, and I always evaluate whether AI-generated content respects copyright and licensing. I actively work to avoid bias and stereotypes by asking critical questions of the AI’s output and adjusting the language to make it inclusive and trustworthy. Transparency is also important to me – if AI has contributed, it should be explained openly and honestly.

Future Development

I will continue to experiment with new tools and stay updated on developments in legislation and best practices. I see AI as an opportunity to strengthen my professional identity as a multimedia designer by combining creativity, technology, and critical thinking.

Example of Use in this Project

In the work with the AI Playbook for Studie+, I used AI to develop the sections I was responsible for: introduction, purpose and target group, ethical guidelines, and the four principles. I generated drafts in ChatGPT, which I then adapted to the tone of voice of Studie+. I also worked with an AI-generated infographic (AI with Care), where I used the output as a starting point for the final design. In this way, AI became a support tool, but the final decisions were mine.
